Arriving at the Dole Plantation for about 45 minutes.
The last time I was there I bought souvenirs and ate
pineapple ice cream. This time I enjoyed the gardens.

I thought this post was cute with actual mileage.

This picture was taken for all my Farmtown friends. :)
It actually takes 18 months for a plant to grow pineapples!
They have to been hand planted and harvested. Lots of time
and work and moved to other locations like the Phillipiness
My eyes were really opened to the beautiful colors around me.

Cacao Fields behind the trees.

There was a koi lake and they went wild with the food.

This red McGregor pineapple is mostly grown in indonesia.

A farm hand statue, farm equipment and more field.

Beautiful country as we leave the plantation.

Pineapple fields and the rich red soil it grows in.

Passing a country church on our way to the North Shore.
